Chapter 1002 : The Realm of Emptiness

"It is done!"

1 100 years later.

In the boundless starry sky, the Abyssal Demon Realm spanned the heavens and the earth, and within that demonic abyss, an ancient path stretched into the depths of the void.

Deep within the ancient path, Eldrin stood shoulder to shoulder with Lyra and others, gazing silently at the towering Celestial Stele before them.

Ever since the fall of the Outer Realm Demon God, Eldrin (Person Name) had extensively collected relics of the demonic tribe, constructing this Path to Immortality at the edge of the Abyssal Chasm.

To forge this Path to Immortality, Eldrin (Person Name) conscripted hundreds of millions of cultivators, expended over a 100 years of relentless assault, and consumed incalculable spiritual materials, ultimately succeeding in refining the Path to Immortality.

Upon this ancient path, Eldrin left behind countless legacies and secreted away numerous opportunities, among which were even relics of the Pure Yang level.

When his descendants set foot upon this Ancient Path to Immortality in the future, even the slightest legacy they might obtain from it would be enough to benefit them for their entire lives.

At this thought, Lila (Person Name) standing nearby spoke up, "The Ancient Path to Immortality has been forged. I wonder when we shall ascend?"

Ascension...

Upon hearing this, a faint smile flickered in Lyra's eyes.

To ascend as an immortal and soar to the Celestial Realm has been the lifelong pursuit of countless cultivators. Having journeyed this far, they naturally yearned for the Elysian Abode with fervent anticipation.

However, Eldrin (Person Name) standing nearby shook his head and said, "Before ascending, I intend to journey into the depths of the starry skies—to eliminate future threats for the Violet Realm."

"To eliminate future threats for the Violet Realm?" Qingji's brow furrowed slightly, a trace of bewilderment flashing in her eyes as she asked involuntarily.

Hmm!

Eldrin nodded slightly. With a flick of his sleeve, he manifested the celestial constellations of the cosmos, as if deciphering the threads of fate through celestial calculations.

At his level of cultivation, a single immortal gaze could penetrate the profound mysteries of heaven and earth. Mundane affairs could scarcely be concealed from him, and deciphering worldly events no longer required the assistance of the Star Observation Tower.

Only moments later, Eldrin withdrew the Great Deduction of Yin-Yang and Stars Dao before turning to the others. "The Purple Realm drifts through this void. If its location were to leak out, I fear calamity would surely follow."

"Although we have refined the Abyssal Demonic Chasm to conceal the Violet Realm, there remains 1 matter yet to be resolved."

Lyra's pupils contracted slightly as she couldn't resist asking, "You mean...?"

Hmm!

Eldrin nodded, his pupils seeming to pierce through the boundless void to gaze upon another great 1000 worlds beyond the starry horizon.

Endless Chaos, the Cosmic Firmament, and the Great 1000 Worlds are as numerous as the sands of the Ganges.

Within this cosmos, the myriad great worlds are as numerous as the stars. Even a Great Luo Immortal Lord from the 9 Heavens Celestial Court might not be able to calculate exactly how many great worlds exist.

The star domain where the Violet Realm resided was an even more desolate and remote region in the depths of the cosmos.

Such a remote and desolate expanse of stars was 1 of countless others in the cosmos, hardly enough to draw anyone’s attention.

Yet Eldrin understood that although this place was desolate, there was still a possibility of exposure.

"This is the place!"

Eldrin soared through the endless void, traversing an immeasurable distance, until he finally arrived before an ancient yet desolate world.

This was a broken world, where windswept sands stretched across the entire land.

In this realm, ancient immortal mountains were brutally severed, and the cosmic membrane was torn asunder with a gaping rift.

The spiritual energy between heaven and earth had been completely drained. Across the 8 directions of the world, flames, tempests, and tsunamis ravaged the land in relentless succession, painting a true portrait of cosmic annihilation.

The Realm of Empyreal Void.

Lyra gazed upon the desolate world, unable to suppress a murmured whisper as a trace of solemnity surfaced in her expression.

This Realm of Void once stood as a major world—though it paled in comparison to the glory of the Violet Realm, over millions of years it had produced 3 immortals.

Such a resplendent world, even among the myriad celestial realms, could be considered 1 with established foundations. Ordinary demon gods would think twice before provoking it.

Unfortunately, the Calamity Demon God, in his bid to annihilate the Violet Realm, recklessly forced his hand against the Empyreal Void Realm, capturing 8 Demi-Immortals from that realm to forge the 8 Demon Immortal Refining Array.

In that great war, the Heavenly Will of the Void Realm was shattered, the vast world nearly torn asunder, and hundreds of millions of living beings could not escape the cataclysm of annihilation.

Now, nearly 3 1000 years later, the spiritual energy of the Boundless Void Realm had completely dissipated, growing so thin it was on the verge of extinction.

As a result, in this vast great world, the number of living beings was less than 1 10-thousandth of what it had been in the past, and the most powerful cultivator actually only possessed a Nascent Soul realm cultivation base.

"Cataclysm of Annihilation, the world's twilight dharma."

Gazing upon the vast world before him, Eldrin could not help but sigh, a trace of helplessness coloring his expression.

Were it not for generations of heroes in the Violet Realm who resisted with their lives, were it not for their desperate battle to quell the ultimate cataclysm, perhaps this very scene before us would have been the Violet Realm's fate as well.

At this thought, Eldrin let out a sigh and stepped into the Realm of Void: "Let's go in and have a look."

"Father, Father!"

Under a sky of crimson sunset, the endless sea of yellow sand stretched to the horizon.

A youth, stripped to the waist, trudged through the desert with a withered old man strapped to his back.

The old man's lips were parched. Gazing down at the boy beneath him, he couldn't help but let out a bitter laugh. "Silly child, your father is already done for. Don't worry about me. You must keep going, find the Crimson Mystique Oasis."

"Father, hold on a little longer. The Crimson Mystic Oasis is just ahead."

"I heard there are cultivators at the Crimson Oasis. Those immortals are boundless in mercy—they will surely save us."

The youth, however, shook his head resolutely, a glimmer of tears flashing in his pupils.

This desolate land was nothing short of a living hell for mortals. Not long ago, the oasis they had relied upon for survival had been obliterated in a raging sandstorm.

The group had managed to escape with their lives, but after traversing the vast desert, only the father and son remained.

Perhaps the youth’s persistence had moved the heavens, for after they crossed yet another hill, they finally saw, at the distant edge of the world, an oasis gracing the desert.

"Father, Father, look! That's the Crimson Mystic Oasis."

"We are saved."

The youth was overcome with ecstasy. Unable to contain himself, he shook his father's arm and mustered the last vestiges of his strength to dash forward.

But just then, he saw at the horizon an endless sandstorm sweeping toward them, threatening to completely engulf the Crimson Mystique Oasis and their entire group.

"It's over!"

As the sandstorm swept in, the young man slumped to the ground, his face etched with despair.

He had exhausted all his strength on this journey, surviving solely on sheer willpower, let alone searching for the next oasis.

"Sigh…"

In that very instant, the youth heard a faint sigh. Then, from the horizon's edge, boundless immortal light cascaded downward, and wherever it touched, the sandstorm stilled in the blink of an eye.

Between heaven and earth, celestial light and spiritual rain showered down, transforming vast stretches of desert into grassland at a speed visible to the naked eye.

After what felt like an eternity, the youth felt his energy surge, as though he had undergone some profound transformation.

He lifted his head and finally noticed a figure faintly standing at the edge of the void, ethereal as a celestial being exiled from the Ninth Heaven.

"Is that... an immortal?"
